Nekl is a dashboard you leave open while you work. It shows the time, your tasks, a focus timer, a calendar, the weather and how much of the day is left, on one screen you do not have to manage.
What Nekl gives you
One screen instead of a dozen tabs
The things you check most often do not each need their own tab. Nekl puts them on one surface so a glance is enough.
Time you can see
Three rings show how much of the day, the month and the year has gone. It is there to give you a sense of the time you have, not to score you on it.
Quiet by default
Nothing flashes, buzzes or asks for your attention. When a timer ends the screen changes quietly and that is all.
Independent
Nekl is built and run by one small company, paid for by the people who subscribe. There are no advertisers and no investors deciding what gets built.
Your data, described honestly
Your tasks, captures and focus history are stored on our servers so they are there on any device you sign in from. We do not run analytics or tracking cookies and we do not sell anything to anyone. Nekl is not end to end encrypted, which means we are technically able to see what you store. The Privacy Policy says exactly what we hold and why.
Sound that stays in the background
Ambient sound you can start and leave running, with the volume where you want it. It is meant to sit under your work rather than on top of it.

Nekl started as a dashboard built for one desk, to replace the handful of tabs that were always open and never quite doing the job. It is now a product, run by FrostPeak Ventures LLC, a small company registered in Wyoming, USA.
